Omar Arnaout, known simply as Omar, was born on October 20, 2000, and is a multilingual singer proficient in Romanian, English, Arabic, and Spanish. He rose to fame as the victor of the inaugural season of Next Star, a Romanian talent competition broadcast on Antena 1 in 2013. Omar’s diverse heritage includes a Romanian mother and a Lebanese father.
Growing up as the youngest of three brothers, Omar currently calls Bucharest, Romania, his home. Following his triumph on Next Star, he embarked on a successful music career, releasing numerous singles and music videos under the stage name “Omar Arnaout.”
A pivotal moment in Omar’s career occurred when he unveiled his debut official song, aptly titled “Beautiful Life.” This milestone catapulted him into the limelight, and he subsequently received invitations to participate in various prominent shows, such as “Kinge Majike” in Albania and the “Bama Music Awards” in Germany, Hamburg. Omar Arnaout went on to release a substantial album comprising more than 20 official tracks.
Omar’s accomplishments extend beyond his initial victory on Next Star. He has garnered several prestigious titles, including “The Best Young Artist” at the Bama Music Awards and “Favorite International Project” at the Mamaia Music Awards in Romania in 2016. In 2017, he was recognized as “The Best European Artist” at the Mamaia Music Awards. Moreover, he has consistently shown his philanthropic side, earning the title of “The Biggest Romanian Helper for Orphans” in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
In addition to his European successes, Omar Arnaout has nurtured strong ties with the Arabian Gulf region, notably with countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, and Qatar. He has graced the stages of prestigious venues in Qatar, including the National Theatre, English Schools (for Kids Shows), and the National Atheneum of Qatar in Doha. Omar’s musical talents have made him a beloved figure across borders, transcending linguistic and cultural boundaries.
